Terms and conditions
These terms govern your use of loadcove.com. By opening any page on this site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site. We have kept the language readable, but this is a binding agreement.
01 · The agreement
These terms form an agreement between you and Load Cove, the operator of loadcove.com. They apply to every page, guide, comparison, table and image on the site. Where a specific page carries additional terms, those apply alongside these.
Our privacy policy, disclaimer, affiliate disclosure, terms of use and cookie policy are incorporated into this agreement by reference. Read them together.
02 · Who may use the site
You must be at least 18 years old to use this site, or the age of legal majority where you live if that is higher. The site is not directed at children, and the subject matter regularly involves equipment and load-handling practices that are not appropriate for unsupervised minors.
If you use the site on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business to these terms.
03 · Our content and its limits
Everything published on Load Cove is general information about hauling, towing and load-securing equipment. It is research-based: figures are drawn from manufacturer specifications, published documentation and standards, and verified owner reports. We do not test products in hand, and nothing on this site should be read as a measured or laboratory result.
Load ratings are your responsibility
Never rely on a figure published here in place of the rating marked on your own equipment. Capacities, hitch classes, working load limits and compatibility figures change between model years and between markets, and manufacturers revise their documentation without notice. Before loading, towing or securing anything, confirm the rating on the equipment itself and in the current manufacturer documentation.
Prices, availability, specifications and product ranges change constantly. We correct pages when we become aware of a change, but we cannot guarantee that every figure is current at the moment you read it. Rankings and any scores are editorial opinion, not statements of fact.
04 · Affiliate relationships
Load Cove participates in affiliate programmes, with Amazon Associates as the primary one. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may receive a commission if you buy something after following one, at no additional cost to you.
Commission does not determine our rankings and we do not accept payment for placement or scores. The complete explanation is in our affiliate disclosure.
Third-party links
We link to retailers, manufacturers and reference sources. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or practices, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on the destination site. Once you leave loadcove.com, their terms and privacy policy govern your visit.
05 · Comments and submissions
Where commenting is enabled, you are responsible for what you post. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, harassing, deceptive, infringing, or commercial in nature. Do not post specification claims you cannot support, and do not post advice that would put another reader at risk.
We may edit, refuse or remove any comment for any reason, and we are under no obligation to publish or preserve anything you submit. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce and display that content in connection with the site.
If you send us a suggestion, correction or idea, we may act on it without obligation, credit or payment. Do not send us anything you consider confidential.
06 · Disclaimer of warranties
The site and everything on it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on it is complete, current or correct.
07 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Load Cove and anyone associated with it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, property or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or your reliance on anything published here.
This includes, without limitation, any damage, injury or loss connected with the purchase, installation, loading, towing, securing or use of any equipment described on this site. Decisions about what your equipment can safely carry or tow are yours, and they must be made against the ratings on your own equipment and the current manufacturer documentation.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case our liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Load Cove and its operators from any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the site, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
08 · Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree that any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes, severability and termination
We may revise these terms at any time. The revision date shown on this page reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in force. We may restrict or terminate access to the site at any time, without notice, for any reason.
